Community Visits & Fire Safety Education
Liberty Fire District welcomes opportunities to connect with our community through station tours, fire truck visits, and fire safety education.
What We Offer
- Station tours: Meet our volunteers, see our apparatus and equipment, and learn about the fire service.
- School and daycare visits: Age-appropriate presentations that introduce children to firefighters, protective equipment, and basic fire safety.
- Fire truck visits: An opportunity to explore a fire truck and learn how firefighters help the community.
- Community events: Fire safety education and apparatus appearances at community gatherings, subject to availability.
We will work with your school, organization, or group to discuss an activity appropriate for your audience.
Free Community Service
Station tours, school and daycare presentations, fire truck visits, and community event appearances are provided at no charge, subject to volunteer and apparatus availability.
Plan Ahead
Please submit requests at least two weeks before your preferred date.
Liberty Fire District is operated by volunteers. All visits depend on personnel and apparatus availability, and submitting a request does not confirm an appointment.
Emergency response takes priority. Scheduled activities may be delayed, interrupted, or canceled because of emergency calls. We will communicate changes as circumstances allow.
